The Archimedes Bath Lift uses a rechargeable battery and can support up to 336 lbs. Despite its dependability and weight capacity, the Archimedes is still a very lightweight and easy to handle bathtub lift. When disassembled the seat, which is the heaviest piece, weighs only 11.5 lbs, so transporting the Archimedes is seldom an issue.
With any bath lift, leg room is at a premium, so the Archimedes strives to provide the most leg room, while still lifting an individual safely out of the bathtub.
