You want the right features in your recliner lift chair, but you also want it to be comfortable and attractive. Consider these options:
Button-back. Button-back lift recliners have a traditional look, with a row of buttons that help stretch the fabric tight. Some models have more than one row of buttons. While comfortable, these are firmer than some other styles. If you have similar furniture, a button-back style is certainly a great choice as long as you're comfortable in a firmer chair.
Pillow-back. Pillow-back lift recliners have rows of pillows down the back that make it a soft and cushy place to sit. Many of the cushions, such as on models like the Pride LL-570, are highly moldable so you can take some of the filling from one "pillow" and put it another to get the chair just how you want it. This gives you a great custom-seating feel.
Arm trays. Eating, reading and other activities can be more comfortable and easier in a lift chair like the Pride LL-571 that has built-in arm trays.
Wall-hugger models. If you don't have much space for an electric lift recliner, there are models that can sit from 4 to 6 inches away from the wall, like the Pride LL-805, instead of the standard 18 - 22 inches most models require.
